hounds in a bag is a 2024 object by not.travis. The photographed bag keeps its black handles, zipper and travel form while its body becomes a worked surface. A dark houndstooth pattern, printed fragments and turquoise paint run across the front. The word MIRAGE survives on a partly covered label; a small horse-and-rider image remains visible low on one side. One catalog photograph shows the full object, while another moves close to the painted and collaged surface. The bag remains recognizable as a travel object even as painting and collage cross its form. The Works ledger gives dimensions of 13 × 30 inches; exact materials and availability need confirmation.
