Murals, objects and projects made with others. The work moves from a wall in Dallas to the things people carry and the spaces they share.
Public mural / Dallas / 2020
not.travis painted the exterior of XOXO Social Club in Dallas. The pink wall became part of the photographs people made at the venue.
In 2022, Dallas Observer reported that UNATION had ranked XOXO the most Instagrammable restaurant in Dallas and credited not.travis's graffiti at the venue.
The ranking is for the restaurant as a whole. The exterior mural is one part of its visual environment.
02–05 / Objects and community work

One of one / leather object
not.travis designed, cut and painted this one-of-one duffel. Leather craftsman Cody Amos assembled the finished bag. Its patches, color and linked-heart mark turn a functional object into a portable work.
The linked-heart mark is two different sized hearts connected by a line. It means that people are different, connected and in it together.

Wearable art / edition
Patterns and marks by not.travis became socks with DeadSoxy. The collaboration carries the visual language of the studio into an everyday object, seen here in a photograph from the original product archive.

Beauty for Freedom / Challenging Heights
Through Beauty for Freedom, not.travis led mural and painting workshops with young participants at Challenging Heights in Ghana in 2017. The wall and works on paper were made collaboratively. The participants’ marks and ideas are part of the work. Related work was shown at The Flat NYC in 2018 in support of the program.
Community work / documented record
The Art of Freedom presented work by survivors of human trafficking in Plano in 2021. Beauty for Freedom’s exhibition record names not.travis and ThanxZoe as curators, following workshops with Traffick911, Unbound Ft. Worth, Stopping Traffic and Valiant Hearts. Dallas Express places the exhibition and sale at The Gallery at Legacy West in September 2021.
